Pay a BasanuPay invoice with confidence.
Freelancers and businesses use BasanuPay to send invoices and get paid. Here is how we protect you when you pay one, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Every seller is verified
Sellers verify their identity with a government ID before they can send invoices or receive money. The invoice shows the seller's verified or registered business name.
Secure card payments
You pay on a secure checkout run by our licensed payment partners. BasanuPay never sees or stores your full card number.
Proof of delivery
Sellers must upload proof that they delivered what you paid for before they can withdraw the money.
We check with you
A few days after you pay, we email you to ask whether you received your order. If you didn't, the seller's money stays on hold while we sort it out.
Refunds
If you didn't receive what you paid for, or were charged for something you never agreed to, you can get a refund under our Refund Policy.
Report an invoice
If an invoice looks suspicious, uses someone else's name, or you never agreed to it, report it. Serious reports pause the invoice straight away.
Here's what to do
Most problems are solved within a few days, and much faster than through your bank. Please contact us before asking your bank to reverse a payment: a bank dispute can take months, and you keep a clear record of your purchase with us.
The charge appears on your card statement as Basanu Global Solutions Ltd.
Contact the seller
Their name and email are on the invoice and your receipt. Most issues, like a missing file or a late delivery, are fixed quickly this way.
Tell us if it isn't resolved
Reply to your receipt email, or write to hello@basanupay.com with the invoice number. We reply within 3 business days.
We review both sides
We look at the agreement, the seller's proof of delivery and your messages, and decide within 10 business days of hearing from both of you.
Refund if you're owed one
Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
Received an invoice you don't recognise?
Open the invoice link and press Report it at the bottom of the page. You don't need an account. If you only have the invoice number or the sender's email, write to hello@basanupay.com with the subject "Report an invoice" and any screenshots.
- We pause invoices reported for impersonation or a fake service while we review them
- We hold the seller's money for that invoice until the review is finished
- We cooperate with law enforcement and keep all records
